Where did it go?
I can’t believe it’s Sunday already!!!! I’ll be hitting the road early tomorrow morning to head back to Kentucky.
While I’m not really looking forward to going back, I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed.
The last 5 days have just flown by! It’s been an incredible time with my family and I’m already starting to plan my next trip down here. It will be either Thanksgiving time or Christmas time. I need to find out what days I can get around those holidays. Since I am the lowest on the totem pole at work, I get last choice. I may just push it to a few days AFTER the holidays, so I don’t have to worry about payroll Monday coming up or anything like that.
It’s cloudy and dreary outside today, which is okay I think. I might take a nap soon, just because I can and I’m on vacay!
I hope everyone had a great 4th of July yesterday! We hung out at my brothers from about 4pm until almost 9pm. We came back to moms and I watched Practical Magic and then local news and channel surfed after that for a bit before going to bed.
I’m not looking forward to the drive tomorrow, but owell. This is what happens when you live 500 miles from your family!
