I got a late start to my day today.  I did not get out of bed until after 10am.  This is a rarity.  I did not sleep very well last night, so I figured since it was Saturday, I would stay in bed as long as my body could take it without starting to hurt.

I’m on my second cup of coffee and I’m trying very hard to wake up.   I have Freedom Writers on Showtime again.  Something about this movie keeps drawing me back to it.  I could probably watch this movie over and over again without ever getting sick of it.

The girls are being a little needy this morning and not leaving me alone.  I don’t know what is up with that.  I’m contemplating taking a shower and starting my housework (read:  laundry).  The sooner I get that done, the better.   When the dryer is going, it gets super hot and muggy in this apartment.   And since it’s going to hit like 94 degrees with 70% or more humidity, I need to get this done as soon as possible.

I also need to get a garbage bag and pickup the pieces of things the girls have chewed over the last few weeks.  Yeah.  I’m a slob and I leave the smaller pieces until I feel like picking them up.  Whatev.

I’m off to get this day started.  Albeit a little later than I had planned.
