I started feeling better last night before going to bed. I even was able to breathe through my nose last night. WHEEE That’s quite an accomplishment.
I woke up feeling pretty good, too. I woke up several times through out the night, but had no problem falling back asleep. Now if only I can remember the combination of over the counter meds I took to get me where I’m at right now!
As I’ve mentioned, my office is right above the fire house. This means whenever there is a call, I can hear the buzzing of their alarm and then the dispatcher announcing the call throughout the house. And then they open the garage door. Oh my gawd. It shakes the whole building LOL The first time this happened earlier this week I almost jumped out of my skin. I’m getting used to it though and have now started to just ignore it.
When my alarm went off this morning, it startled the girls so much, it took them a few minutes to move. They were basically all over me. Chloe had been sleeping on my left side and Josie was sleeping on my right. Usually, they jump up right away and start hoping all over the place when the alarm goes off. However, this morning they were so scared, they didn’t move for a few seconds until I told them to move hahaha Poor girls!
I’m going to start taking my lunch to work because there is NOTHING to eat around where I work. I like to go somewhere, pick something up and then take it back to the office. There is not a Quiznos around to speak off, nor a Subway or Wendy’s. And since I don’t know the area well enough to let myself wander around on my lunch hour yet, I’ll start brown bagging it for a bit.
I have no access to Twitter or Facebook or my gmail accounts while at work. This was, at first, a little upsetting. And then I got over it. If I feel the need for any of those, I can access them on my phone.
Every now and then, I feel like I have a lack of progesterone or some other hormone that I’m supposed to have to regulate things. When I had the hysterectomy, the doctor said they would leave the left ovary, so that I don’t go through menopause before “my time.” He said I wouldn’t experience any symptoms of it until I was supposed to. Um. Yeah. Either it’s my time, or he lied. It hasn’t happened the last several weeks, but every now and then I go through these HORRIBLE hot flashes and night sweats. It’s nasty. I hate it.
Time to get ready for work! WOOT! I’m actually starting to look forward to going to work now. Go figure.
Until next time….

I found it so funny imagining you. You know, the new girl, still not used to the new place, the sirens or whatever go off and you grab the sliding pole to get the fcuk out of there and save yourself from the alien attack (or whatever you head thinks it is at the time) while everyone is staring at you going “WTF?”.
No, I’m not drunk. I’m just brain dead from staying up all night to finish my last piece of coursework.

Awwww….you know I totally get you on the hot flashes and what have you. LOL Trouble sleeping, occasional hot flashes, it is not out of the realm of possibility that it is the beginning of the big “M”. I am the same age, and we have roughly the same medical history regarding our girlie bits. Quick blood test can give you the answer on that….and now that you have insurance (as of June 1) you can go get it checked out.

Those doctors don’t have the slightest clue about the ‘pause. It’s not like starting between 10 and 13 years old and then once a month regularly thereafter. It’s COMPLETELY different and varies from woman to woman and can go on for YEARS.
My one friend had a COMPLETE hysterectomy and the doctor said NOTHING to her about ANY of it. Except of course, that WITHOUT a uterus, she would not have a period. DUH.

I am here to save you. My wife started with the hot flashes a few years ago. I did some research and found the remedy. You need to get some Soy Isoflavinons capsules. You can get them here http://www.swansonvitamins.com/ProductDisplay/catalogId/10051/productId/12856/R/25900&SourceCode=INTL097&saleCatalogId=10051
Take four twice a day. After a week or two you can regulate them up or down as needeed. She has done this for three years now and is flash free.( except when she flashes me) She stopped a year or so ago and within a week they were back. I have told this to many women and they so thanked me for it. Good luck.
