I had a great first day in the office.  I have my own little cubicle desk space.  There is a coffee maker literaly four feet behind me when I’m sitting at my desk.   I didn’t have a computer right away, so Manager Lady just kind of walked through a lot of what we will be doing.

I will be indirectly working for the Colonel over this specific area.  There are four of us in this little “section.”  The Manager, a woman we will call the Admiral just for shits and giggles, me and then Pinky.  Pinky is my co-worker I was in the orientation with yesterday.  She wore a pink pantsuit today. 

All four of us drink coffee like we are dying.  All four of us smoke.   I really like the Manager so far, as well as the Admiral.  My opinion/vote is still out on Pinky.  Don’t quite know what to think of her yet.

The day went by fairly slow, but I think that’s because Manager Lady could not show us stuff on the computer really.  I finally got my computer at like 3:45 this afternoon.  15 minutes before the end of my shift.

While at work, I called the County Clerk’s office to find out where my voting place is and found out that when I THOUGHT I was registering to vote, must have been something else.  I guess I’m so stupid, I couldn’t read the “Voter Registration” section of the form that I filled out.  /sarcasm

It took me 20 minutes to get there this morning and 20 minutes to get back to my end of town.  I would have been home by 4:30 had I not stopped at TJ Maxx and Target.   WHEEEEEEEEE I LUFF that!

This means I did not get to vote today in the Kentucky primary.   This also means I will miss the General Election in November.  This makes me fucking stabby.  Unless of course, I’m wrong about that too.  It’s possible.  I’ve been known to be wrong before.

After work, while still stabby, I decided to hit TJ Maxx for some work pants.  They usually have the lowest prices on good quality, name brand things.  I found ONE pair of pants that fit me.  ONE.  This made me a little stabbier.

I then headed over to Target (they are right next to each other) to get some Neosporin, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.   I became even stabbier because the people walking around Target were fucking idiots and douchebags.  Pushing their way through and walking into my cart and then looking at me like I hit them.  Bitch, please.  Whatev.

I’m in a better mood.  I’m finishing the laundry of linens and what not, changing the sheets on my bed and then going to watch TV.  Right now I need to find food though.
