Today and tomorrow are the last days I have to drive to Lexington for work. While I am very pleased with this, because a lot of my co-workers are showing their true colors, there are a few I will miss. Boston Girl is the one person I will miss the most. She and I have really bonded since I started working there. We exchanged numbers earlier this week and have promised to stay in touch.

I will also miss stalking Cute Payroll Guy. It’s been a fun little game and I’ve really enjoyed making him blush. LOL He and the Owner have provided me with some excellent eye candy over the last 2 1/2 months.

And then I think about all the eye candy I’m going to get starting Monday/Tuesday. Monday I’m in orientation all day, so I doubt I’ll get to see any eye candy. But on Tuesday? Heaven help me.

I’ve been struggling in letting go of the home phone. I’ve argued and justified and GB finally asked me why I was so anal about keeping it. I told him because I’ve NEVER been without a home phone before. I’ve always had one.

My cell phone had always been for while I am away from the home and when I’m home, I use the home phone the most. I also don’t want to sit here and try to figure out WHO I’ve given out my home phone number to and then contact them and let them know of the change. It’s going to be a pain in the ass.

However, in the spirit of trying to save money each month, it’s something I CAN and am willing to let go of. Tonight after work, I’m going to start emailing people with the change. *le sigh* Just when I memorized my home phone number too.

I’m procrastinating in getting ready for work. As usual. I think it’s the drive that makes me do this. I just hate the drive and look for all kinds of excuses to not do it. However, just two more days. Today and tomorrow. That’s it!!! WHEEEEEE This is the last Thursday I’ll have to make that drive.

I’ve been looking for ways to supplement my income once I start at the FD. I talked to BOC yesterday about possibly putting the system on my home computer and then I can pound out some of the old cards throughout the week, working about 15 to 20 hours. I offered to do it at a lower hourly rate than what they have me at right now. Only because I wouldn’t have to pay for gas driving back and forth. He was very thrilled with the idea and is going to talk to Owner about it. It would supplement my income by about $125 a week.

Next week, I will also be starting the project for GB and we have NOT set up how he’s going to pay me or when. But I trust that we will. Otherwise, I’ll hold all his invoices hostage and never give them back. LOL

I’ve procrastinated enough now. I must go get ready for work. Have a GREAT Thursday!
