As you all know, I got baptised today. I’ve been going to this church for a couple of months. I made the decision to get baptised a few weeks ago and today was the day.
Miss Lucy came from her casa, 5 hours away and Miss Laci came to the apartment so we could party it up Friday night. I wasn’t going to put this on YouTube and then thought to myself, why not?
The bitches AND my GA family had cameras and were snapping away while we were there. Miss Lucy decided to just video parts of the baptism. This first video is of the three of us getting baptised repeating the Good Confession from our minister. This here second video is of me being baptised. It was a moving, emotional and powerful moment for me in my life. I’m blessed to share it with all of my readers.
I was crying by the time he dunked me. I choked up while repeating the Good Confession and I choked up as he was talking to me and telling me he was baptising me in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. As we were leaving the pool, he smiled at me and said “Wasn’t that incredible?” And I was nodding at him as the camera stopped rolling.
It was a wonderful moment for me. I missed Miss Monique something fierce, as well as my mom and brother. I know that they were there with me in my heart though.

Congratulations! What a wonderful experience! I agree, it’s an emotional experience. Just going to church for me is very emotional. I always cry during the homily and AJ has no idea what to do with me. LOL
