Joefish: I used to make fun of people from the Midwest when they'd visit Vegas. They'd be wearing shorts in 60 degree weather and we'd all be in sweaters and parkas. Guess the shoe will be on the other foot soon. LOL

FG: No, I do NOT want snow, you can keep it. kthxbai!

You'll get used to it on at least a seasonal basis. Cold weather will always feel cold, but your body will adapt somewhat. 50 degree weather in September feels like you're going to freeze to death. 50 degree weather in March makes you want to break out the shorts.

Monique: Ugh I'm hoping I at least adapt to it, I don't have to get used to it really. I lived in Vegas for 38 years, and I HATED. LOATHED actually the summers and anytime it went over 95 degrees out there...which is a regular occurrence there. Just dealt with it and moved on hahaha Guess that's what I'll do here with the cold.

You don't get used to it. I have lived in the midwest all my life and I. Hate. The. Cold. Srsly. At home I am always bundled up, with a blanket thrown over me. I mean, I guess you learn to deal with it, it becomes your new "normal." IN gets a lot less snow than MI, so I bitch and whine when we get a few inches like we did yesterday ... which is why I got an "oh, you poor thing!" e-mail from my Dad. LOL
