The Soda Stand

Here we are Saturday morning. It’s my third Saturday in my new place and I’m beginning to feel a little more comfortable everyday. Although all this shit seems to keep happening to send me into high speed wobbles, I’m trying to focus on the positive. Once something happens, I’ve been working on finding solutions to the problem, rather than focusing on the problem itself.

I’ve been thinking about joining a gym here. I still need to cancel my membership for Las Vegas Athletic Club in Vegas. It’s paid through to March or April if I remember correctly. I’m not holding out much hope I’ll get any kind of refund for the remainder, I just need to cancel it.

If I had more room in my apartment, I’d get a treadmill or Elliptical machine for myself. However, there’s barely enough room for me and the girls as it is and I just can’t see myself spending that kind of money right now.

Maybe in a year or so when I decide where to live next. I don’t think I’ll stay in this apartment longer than a year. There are just too many things I don’t like about it, but again, I’m focusing on the things I DO like about it so that this year won’t be miserable for me.

I’ve watched Moonlight this morning and did my recap over at Fluff, why don’t you go check it out? I’ve also watched Wednesday’s episode of Bionic Woman. I have such a crush on the guy who plays Jay. Yumm-O!!! Here’s a picture of him:

Will Yun-Lee plays him on the show and I just think he’s hawt, hawt, hawt! And he kicks some serious ass in the martial arts on the show. LUFF me some martial arts action.

Speaking of working out, there’s a Martial Arts studio down the street from me. I’m thinking once I find a job with a steady schedule AND start school, on my days off, I might go join that studio. Get back into the discipline and calmness I used to feel about 10 years ago when I was studying Tai Chi and Gung Fu.

I need to go get some breakfast and then slowly get ready to go pick up Miss Laci so we can stalk Ty and Eduardo from EMHE. WHEEE!
