Let’s all go to Tampa.
When I was looking for the cost of living and for a new city, I found a website for some Tampa real estate that was very quite interesting. First, I had to switch over to IE before I could even few the MLS listings. Which was actually OK, I don’t totally hate IE7.
The website shows their listings and it’s also used for sellers of houses as well. Tampa has some good prices on their houses, ranging from the low end to the high end (as most markets do.) The website is actually for all of Hillsborough County, FL. They have quite a few programs for buyers and sellers in the area. You can sign up for free if it’s something you’re really interested in.
I also found the below link to a petition in trying to save the portability of the housing in Florida. I read the letter from the person who wrote the petition and I think it’s a great idea. If I lived in Florida, I’d probably sign it myself. But being as that I’m in Nevada, I don’t think my signature would help them much.
