Word to the wise.
I’m planning a quick trip to Louisville next week. I’ll be flying out Monday morning and coming back Thursday evening.
I’m going to take a test for one of the jobs I applied for. I’ll be taking that test on my birthday. This is good, right? Please convince me cause I’m having heartburn about leaving town for my birthday.
I couldn’t remember where I packed my HS diploma/transcripts or my birth certificate. So I had to go online and find out how to get the B.C. Fucking expensive to get a copy of your BC. Make sure you know where it is at all times, mmkay? From now on, I will make sure to keep all of these things in a place I can easily access them.
When telling one moving company you have chosen a DIFFERENT moving company, don’t let the girl who sounds pissed off at you get to you. Just stick to the decision you made and go from there.
When booking a flight, hotel and rental car for a last minute trip, stick to the well known yet cheaper type hotels. Like Best Western. This will lessen the heartburn you get from the price it’s costing you to go last minute.
In the last two days, I have gotten heartburn on several occasions over how much money I’m spending to; become debt free, buy my ticket/hotel/rental car for next week, buy a copy of my birth certificate, etc etc etc. For the first time in my life, I’m getting sick to my stomach by spending my money. GAH!!!! I’ll get over it, I’m sure but I’m so paranoid about spending this money responsibly, I’m freaking out. And I know everything I’ve spent it on is responsible stuff, good stuff, the right stuff, etc. But damn!
I’ve spent the entire day at the computer, planning the move stuff, confirming with the moving company, confirming my test time, etc etc. Oh, and booking the trip next week, I did not realize until just a few minutes ago it’s after 1pm in the afternoon.
I’m still in my pj’s. And I need a shower. I have, at least, remembered to eat throughout the day and drink water. Someone mentioned on DIST that I’m handling this move thing very well and I just have to say I sure as shit do not feel like I am.
OK, now that I’ve dumped all my shit on you guys, I’m going to go pack a few boxes and watch TV. Maybe take a nap cause I’m exhausted.
Until next time….

Hugs to you. Good luck with the test!
hI HAVE A SAFE TRIP.
Of course it’s good luck you’re taking your test on your birthday! You’re going to rock it.
