• AFAN has been providing services to people infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS for over 24 years.

• AFAN is the largest AIDS Service Organization in Nevada.

• AFAN has approximately 2600 Registered Clients.

• AFAN schedules ten or more Outreaches per month,
  reaching 5000 individuals per year.

• AFAN is conveniently located adjacent to Doctors’ offices and other AIDS Service Organizations, providing a “one stop shop” for the clientele we serve.

• AFAN has two of the most significant fundraising events for AIDS in Nevada; AIDS Walk Las Vegas and the Black & White Party.

• AFAN has been recognized by the U.S. Congress, Nevada’s Governor, and the Nevada State Assembly for its continued efforts and advocacy in the HIV/AIDS community and for educating the population about this vitally important work.

• AFAN was honored by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce as its 2006 Non Profit Organization of the Year. The Small Business Excellence Award (aka “Buz E’s”) celebrates entrepreneurial spirit and small business leadership in our community.
