In about 24 hours, I will be packing my car up for my trip to San Diego. I’m so bloody excited I could just scream!

I logged on early this morning and left Lockheed a message spouting my excitement LOL. As I’m headed out of town, I’ll be dropping Chloe off at my friends SG and MG’s house. They have 3 other dogs, so Chloe will have LOTS of fun.

She will also get her first ever experience with cats, as they have several cats too. Yes, it’s like a zoo there. Three adults, 3 dogs and 4 cats. YIKES! I would go bonkers. But they love it and they love animals so I’m sure Chloe will be completely spoiled rotten by the time I pick her up this weekend.

Did I mention my Canon Rebel did NOT come with an adapter? There is no A/C adapter. So I went back onto Dell.com and found one that said it would be compatible (this, after checking to make sure I was NOT supposed to get one with the camera). I ordered it. I got it a few days ago, opened it up and took it out of the box.

It doesn’t fit.

I now can’t find the fucking box to send it back to Dell. GAH!!!! I think I threw it away and so now I’ve got this A/C adapter that does NOT fit my camera and I can’t send it back. *sigh* I hate it when I have brain farts like that.

I have a memory card in the camera right now that holds 442 pictures. I’m going to eventually purchase another memory card to hold that many as well. Until then, I’m taking my little Olympus point and shoot camera with me as well as the Canon. That way, if I take 442 pictures (it could happen ya know), I will have the back up of the little camera.

I’ve made my list of things to take with me to SD and I’m going to be packing here soon. Get that all done before I go bowling tonight. That way I can sleep in tomorrow or just relax and have my coffee before hitting the road.

Lockheed does not get off work until 5pm or 6pm, but he may be able to cut out early. I’ll call him when I get there and we’ll coordinate from there. I’m so bloody excited. Did I mention that?

When I get down there, I’m going to go to Seaport Village before heading to his house anyway ~ especially if he can’t get outta work early I will need something to do. I don’t have a key to his house yet, so it’s not like I can get in without him.

OK, off to enjoy my first official day of vacation and possibly start packing. I’ll probably check Twitter, Facebook, DIST and MySpace and then play some Bubble Bobble before packing though. I’m an addict like that.
